Vortex Media is a boutique studio bringing together global distribution and production with a focus on film and television of all genres. Vortex Canada theatrically releases feature films in Canada while maximizing the monetization across all platforms; Vortex International is a worldwide sales and distribution company; Vortex Productions is an in-house production company with the resources to self-finance and produce feature films and films made for television.

Bill Marks – Executive Chairman

Bill brings over 40 years of industry experience to Vortex and has produced over 30 film and television projects including FORSAKEN starring Kiefer and Donald Sutherland (Gala Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival), A DARK TRUTH, starring Andy Garcia, Eva Longoria and Forest Whitaker, COMPULSION, starring Heather Graham and Carrie-Anne Moss, CASINO JACK, starring Kevin Spacey, Barry Pepper and Kelly Preston, BREAKOUT, starring Brendan Fraser and Dominic Purcell, and SWEARNET: THE MOVIE, starring the Trailer Park Boys. Marks also produced the indie-cult hits WOLFCOP and ANOTHER WOLFCOP.

Justin Rebelo – CEO

Justin was formerly at Entertainment One overseeing television and digital distribution for English Canada since 2014 where he had great success with placing content in Canada and globally until the end of 2019. He spent fifteen plus years in programming at various broadcasters including HBO Canada, Super Channel, EPIX (US) and Much Music. He was the executive in charge of production on many feature films, documentaries and television series. Some highlights include Bruce McDonald's PONTYPOOL, Lixin Fan's Award Winner LAST TRAIN HOME, Ron Mann's ALTMAN, TIFF’s Best First Canadian Feature and CSA award-winner BLACKBIRD, TIFF Best Canadian Feature award-winner WHEN JEWS WERE FUNNY and the multiple CSA nominee TINY PLASTIC MEN, and many more. Justin produced ROOM FOR RENT (2017) starring Brett Gelman, Mark Little, Carla Gallo, Stephnie Weir, Patrick J. Adams and Mark McKinney.

Jesse Ikeman – Chief Creative Officer

Jesse Ikeman has been in the media and entertainment business since 2000. After starting his career at Alliance Atlantis, he was Vice President of Business Development & Co-Productions at Blueprint Entertainment (now part eOne). Recently, Jesse produced CHRISTMAS ISLAND and TAKE ME BACK FOR CHRISTMAS (Hallmark Channel, Corus Network), both nominated for 2024 CSA's for Best TV Movie.  Jesse produced WHEN JEWS WERE FUNNY (Winner TIFF 2013, Best Canadian Feature Film). He has also provided Production Services for SPOTLIGHT (Best Picture, OSCARS®) and ALL IS LOST with Robert Redford. He has produced or executive produced over 50 hours of network television.
